1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MuteCoach ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MuteCoach is an AI-powered interview preparation platform that provides: interview practice questions, real-time interview copilot (Chrome extension), resume builder, mock interviews, certifications, and study plans.

3. Account Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Account sharing is prohibited and will result in suspension.
• You must provide accurate information during signup.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Account Sharing & Fair Use

• Each account is for personal use by a single individual only.
• Sharing login credentials, tokens, or session access with others is strictly prohibited.
• We monitor device fingerprints and login patterns. Accounts showing signs of sharing (multiple devices, impossible travel, excessive usage) may be suspended without notice.
• Maximum 3 devices per account per week. Exceeding this triggers review.

5. Subscription & Payments

• Free tier provides limited access as described on our pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
• 7-day money-back guarantee on first payment. Refunds processed within 5-7 business days.
• You may cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Credit packs (session packs) do not expire.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account with others or allow others to use your credentials.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute question content or AI-generated answers.
• Use automated tools to access the Service (except the official Chrome extension).
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, device restrictions, or rate limits.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content (questions, answers, study plans, certifications) is owned by MuteCoach.
• AI-generated answers are provided for personal interview preparation only.
• You may not republish, sell, or distribute content from the Service.
• Your resumes and saved answers remain your property.

8. Interview Copilot Disclaimer

• The Interview Copilot is a preparation and assistance tool.
• Use during actual interviews is at your own risk and discretion.
• MuteCoach does not guarantee job offers or interview outcomes.
• We are not responsible for any consequences of using the copilot during live interviews.

9. Limitation of Liability

MuteCoach is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for: job outcomes, interview results, lost data (beyond reasonable backup efforts), or service interruptions.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your access ceases immediately.
• You may request deletion of your data by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
